I-Man Painting completed a full interior transformation, converting the home’s existing natural timber look ceilings, walls and skirting boards into a clean, modern painted finish.

The project required detailed preparation and a carefully planned coating system to ensure the existing timber surfaces were properly prepared for painting and the new finish would be durable, smooth and consistent throughout the home.

Our team began with extensive sanding and surface preparation, removing imperfections and preparing the timber to achieve the best possible adhesion. Because the existing timber surfaces required a specialised coating system, we applied an oil-based primer to properly seal and prepare the surfaces before proceeding with the final finish.

Following the primer, the interior received three full top coats, carefully applied to achieve a uniform, modern appearance and complete coverage. Particular attention was given to maintaining clean lines and consistent finishes across the ceilings, walls and skirting boards.

Transforming timber interiors requires significantly more preparation than standard repainting, particularly when changing from a traditional timber appearance to a modern painted finish. Our team focused on every stage of the process, from preparation through to the final coat, ensuring the finished surfaces looked refined and professionally completed.

The result was a complete visual transformation of the interior. The original timber character was replaced with a fresh, contemporary painted appearance, giving the home a brighter, cleaner and more modern feel while creating a consistent finish throughout the living spaces.
